May 18, 2019. More Graeser Park good news! The new Graeser Park Restoration & Preservation (GPR&P) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with one mission – fundraising to restore Graeser Park.
Created by Colleen Patterson and a group of dedicated Graeser Park fans, GPR&P supports both the restoration and long-term preservation of this historic Lilac Way park.
Graeser Park features one of only two 1939 WPA-built beehive fireplaces in the U.S. Located in Robbinsdale MN, it’s the only beehive in its original location.
Robbinsdale has been trying to get the title to the property, indicating interest going back to the 1990s. Fundraising will kickoff only AFTER title is transferred to Robbinsdale.

Ownership Update

Robbinsdale’s Graeser Park Could be Closer to City Ownership
This September 2020 CCX Media video discusses Graeser Park’s ownership with Robbinsdale City Manager Marcia Glick, as well as MnDOT’s Andrea Weber. Both indicate that they may be getting closer to an agreement.
Once Graeser Park is owned by the City, volunteers hope plans to preserve and restore the park will begin.
